Aalok Healthcare Ltd. started its journey as ‘Mirpur Diagnostic Centre’ in 1995 with the promise to render the possible standard health care services to the people of the country at an affordable price and to limit the outflow of the patients abroad. For many years, we have been observing thousands of people of our country are going abroad every year only for treatment purpose. For this, the country is losing millions of money worth of foreign currencies. So, to prevent this and to give proper health care services to the people of this country ‘Aalok Healthcare Ltd’ continues its venture as Diagnostic and Consultation Centers at Mirpur-10, Dhaka-1216.
We would like to aspire that from being one of the most poorest nations at birth in 1971 with per capita GDP tenth lowest in the world, Bangladesh reached lower middle income status in 2015, It is on track to graduate from UN’s least developed countries (LDC) list in 2026 and Bangladesh would have the 28th largest economy by 2030 up from 31st in 2016 and has the potential to become the world’s 23rd largest economy by 2050. We have tremendous scope of opportunity and potentials in our health sector. There are many limitations and challenges in this sector. But to solve them, our strategies are very few in number and sometimes unpredictable. So, we should be more concern about our commitment, improvement and quality. To achieve the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) -3: Good Health and Well-Being and to ensure the quality of services, we need skilled people who will continue to produce high level of productivity relentlessly, maintaining the highest standard of medical services. Aalok Healthcare Ltd. also established two Hospitals; one in Dhaka named ‘Aalok Hospital Ltd’. having 130 Beds at Mirpur-6, Dhaka and the other one is at Ghatail, Tangail as ‘Aalok Foundation Hospital’ having 35 Beds. Aalok Hospital Ltd. introduced Critical Care Centre’s like ICU, HDU, Dialysis Unit to become a high standard of health care facility.
